Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Grad Prog Adm & Rctmt Coord II Job Summary: The Wisconsin School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director to join the MBA and Master’s admissions and recruitment team. This role plays a critical part in recruiting and enrolling high-quality candidates for graduate business programs at the Wisconsin School of Business. The Assistant Director will support all current and future MBA and Master’s programs. The Assistant Director will: Support the development, execution, and continuous management of an annual comprehensive recruitment plan aligned with enrollment goals. Collaborate with the rest of the admissions and recruitment team to design, implement, and evaluate new recruitment tactics and engagement strategies. Analyze recruitment and enrollment data to assess effectiveness, identify trends, and inform strategic adjustments. Develop and maintain corporate, nonprofit, and community partnerships to support recruitment pipelines and brand awareness. Identify new opportunities that expand reach to prospective students and key audiences. Serve as a representative of the programs to prospective students, partners, and stakeholders through consultations, recruitment fairs, webinars, and other events. Support prospective students throughout the admissions funnel, from inquiry through enrollment. Read applications to various MBA and Master’s programs. May be involved in other marketing, recruiting and admissions initiatives. The Assistant Director will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and may, over time, assume supervisory responsibility for student workers and/or full-time staff. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for helping the team reach their enrollment goals for all programs. The role requires flexibility, including the ability to travel and work flexible hours during evenings and weekends. The Assistant Director will be in a hybrid role with 3-4 days of work on campus, in the office. Key Job Responsibilities: Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission Counsels prospective and admitted graduate students on educational planning and career opportunities Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications for admission to a graduate program according to established policies and procedures Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events Department: Wisconsin School of Business, MBA and Masters Admissions Compensation: The minimum salary for the position is $72,000. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Benefits information can be found at (https://hr.wisc.edu/benefits/) Required Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of professional experience in admissions, recruitment, sales and marketing, or higher education Minimum 1 year of staff supervision Preferred Qualifications: Experience in graduate or professional degree programs admissions and/or recruitment Well qualified candidates will possess: Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and precision Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrated abilities in project and event management skills Ability to work under deadline pressures while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven setting High degree of initiative Proven success in working both independently and in teams Provide a high level of customer service while utilizing a strong professional presence Excellent technical skills, such as familiarity manipulating spreadsheets, databases, and/or recruiting and admissions software, including CRM systems Education: Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s Degree preferred How to Apply: Click the "Apply" button to start the application process.
