The Opportunity

arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Remote Night Shift Customer Service Specialist to join our team as a Trip Coordinator. This remote position offers the unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while playing a crucial role in our medical transportation network. As a Trip Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our evening operations, ensuring that patients receive the transportation services they need during non-traditional hours. Key Responsibilities

  • Trip Management and Assignment: Efficiently coordinate and assign 700-900 patient trips nightly to our dispatch team through the Health-E Rides system, ensuring optimal coverage and resource utilization
  • Scheduler Optimization: Build and maintain daily schedules for dispatchers, strategically incorporating breaks and meal times to maintain operational efficiency and team well-being
  • Language Coordination: Match patient transportation needs with dispatchers who speak the appropriate languages, ensuring clear communication and quality service delivery
  • Partner Coordination: Stack and assign trips to contracted Care Partners, maximizing efficiency while maintaining service quality standards
  • Customer Communication: Answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and healthcare providers during evening hours with empathy and professionalism
  • Real-time Trip Coordination: Coordinate and manage incoming evening trips as they arrive, making real-time decisions to ensure timely service
  • Administrative Support: Handle Care Partner-related administrative tasks, including payment processing and documentation maintenance
  • Technical Support: Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing first-line resolution for technical inquiries
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain service quality standards during evening operations, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
  • Documentation Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation and reporting for compliance purposes

Essential Qualifications
