Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring a detail-oriented, analytically driven Remote Data Analytics & Risk Intelligence Specialist to support a wide range of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), compliance, and regulatory initiatives. In this fully remote role, you will work closely with legal teams, compliance officers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders to gather, process, and visualize data drawn from diverse global information systems. Your insights will help shape how the organization identifies, measures, and mitigates risk across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Integration: Gather, consolidate, and process data from a variety of disparate information systems spanning arenaflex’s U.S. and global operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting channels.
• Risk Identification & Classification: Identify and categorize information that supports a broad spectrum of ERM objectives, risk evaluation initiatives, compliance requirements, and situational awareness areas critical to organizational resilience.
• Dashboard & Visualization Development: Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Tableau Prep that empower stakeholders to assess risk exposure and evaluate the maturity of associated controls in real time.
• Custom Reporting: Construct tailored analytical reports on an as-needed basis to address specific business questions, executive requests, and ad-hoc risk assessments.
• Advanced Analytics & Methodology: Apply expertise in statistical and analytical techniques — leveraging tools such as R, Python, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku — to develop defensible, repeatable methodologies for risk assessment.
• Insight Communication: Draw meaningful insights, trends, and correlations from complex datasets and clearly communicate findings to compliance professionals, legal counsel, and senior business leaders.
• Emerging Risk Analysis: Provide input on new and emerging risk areas using data-driven analysis, contributing to proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement: Solicit feedback from stakeholders and continuously refine arenaflex’s ERM and risk evaluation processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic value.

Essential Qualifications

• SQL Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and manipulate large datasets across multiple platforms.
• Visualization & BI Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated talent in Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku.
• Domain Experience: Prior experience working on legal, compliance, ERM, or risk evaluation matters is strongly preferred.
• Storytelling with Data: Adept at generating impactful visualizations and using data to “tell a story” that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Programming Skills: Working knowledge of R or Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Growth Mindset: A genuine passion for learning new tools, techniques, and methodologies in a rapidly evolving analytics landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level risk or compliance functions in a Fortune 500 or similarly complex organization.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific compliance standards.
• Prior experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and data quality management principles.
