Welcome to Arenaflex: Where Data Meets Purpose

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for transforming raw information into actionable business intelligence? Arenaflex is hiring a detail-oriented, analytical, and forward-thinking Remote Data Analytics and Compliance Risk Specialist to join our growing distributed team. This is a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to high-impact enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making initiatives that shape the future of a global organization.

At Arenaflex, we believe that data is more than numbers on a screen — it is the foundation upon which sound business decisions are made. Our mission is to help people save money, live better, and access the products and services they need through operational excellence, technological innovation, and unwavering integrity. As a member of our remote workforce, you will play a pivotal role in identifying risk patterns, building sophisticated analytical dashboards, and delivering insights that influence stakeholders at every level of the enterprise.

If you are a self-motivated individual with deep SQL expertise, experience in Python or R, and a strong foundation in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and BigQuery, we want to hear from you. Join Arenaflex and become part of a culture that celebrates curiosity, rewards growth, and empowers every associate to make a measurable difference.

What You Will Do: Core Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Analytics and Compliance Risk Specialist at Arenaflex, your day-to-day work will directly support enterprise risk management (ERM), compliance, and strategic decision-making functions. You will serve as a trusted analytical partner to compliance professionals, legal teams, and business leaders across the organization. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Risk Identification and Documentation: Identifying, cataloging, and maintaining critical information needed to support a wide variety of ERM objectives, risk evaluation goals, compliance requirements, and scenario planning initiatives. You will ensure that all data inputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Data Aggregation and Integration: Collecting, cleaning, and processing information from disparate information systems across our U.S. and global business units. You will design and maintain comprehensive dashboards that help stakeholders scope risk, evaluate control maturity, and understand emerging threats in real time.
  • Custom Report Development: Constructing custom reports, visualizations, and analytical deliverables on an as-needed basis to support executive-level decision-making, audit preparation, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Methodology Design and Standardization: Applying your expertise in analytics techniques and tools to develop defensible, repeatable, and consistent methodologies for assessing risk across business units. You will help formalize best practices that can be scaled across the enterprise.
  • Insight Generation and Storytelling: Drawing meaningful insights, correlations, and trends from complex datasets and communicating those findings clearly to compliance professionals, attorneys, and enterprise leaders. You will translate technical findings into business-relevant narratives.
  • Emerging Risk Analysis: Providing input and analytical guidance on new and emerging risk areas using data-driven analysis. You will proactively identify trends that could impact the organization and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Soliciting feedback from stakeholders and helping drive the continuous improvement of ERM and risk evaluation processes, tools, and frameworks. You will champion a culture of analytical excellence.

What You Will Bring: Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong combination of technical skills, domain knowledge, and professional competencies. The following qualifications are required:

  • Advanced SQL Proficiency: You have deep, hands-on knowledge of SQL and the ability to write complex queries, build robust data models, and optimize performance across large-scale datasets.
  • Business Intelligence Expertise: You possess demonstrable talent in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku. You are comfortable building end-to-end analytical solutions from data ingestion through visualization.
  • Domain Experience: You have experience working on legal, compliance, ERM, or risk evaluation matters. You understand the regulatory landscape and can translate compliance requirements into analytical frameworks.
  • Data Visualization and Storytelling: You are adept at generating impactful visualizations and using data to "inform a story." You understand how to design dashboards that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Programming Skills: You can code using R or Python for advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Communication Skills: You own robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
  • Growth Mindset: You have a growth mindset and enjoy learning new things, exploring emerging technologies, and continuously expanding your analytical toolkit.

Preferred Qualifications and Nice-to-Haves

While the following qualifications are not strictly required, they will help you stand out as a candidate and accelerate your impact at Arenaflex:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Google BigQuery certification, or similar credentials.
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed, or global enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Exposure to machine learning techniques, natural language processing, or predictive modeling.
  • Prior experience in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Time Management: The discipline to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to pivot as business needs evolve.
