We are looking for a meticulous, tech-savvy, and analytically minded Remote Live Chat Data Entry Specialist to join our expanding Customer Listening and Voice of Customer (VOC) team. About the Role

The Customer Listening team at arenaflex handles more than five million client surveys every year across consumer, business, and merchant sectors. Our mission is to manage the end-to-end Voice of the Customer process — from survey design and programming to data architecture, analytics, and reporting. We operate in more than 20 countries, with surveys translated into over 10 languages, making this one of the most globally impactful data programs in the industry.

As a Remote Live Chat Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting the transformation and innovation of our Voice of the Customer methodology. You will work closely with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure that customer feedback is captured, structured, and delivered with the highest standards of quality. Your contributions will directly influence strategic decisions, product enhancements, and customer satisfaction initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Live Chat Data Management: Serve as the first point of contact for live chat inquiries, accurately entering, categorizing, and processing customer feedback data in real time while maintaining exceptional response quality.
  • Voice of Customer Support: Collaborate with utility teams to define, frame, and capture enterprise-level business needs, ensuring alignment between data entry activities and broader VOC objectives.
  • Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and build robust data models that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions, enabling reliable reporting and analytics across regions.
  • Big Data Solutions: Enable large-scale data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative outputs with high data integrity.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct intensive testing at variable and use-case levels to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency before downstream consumption.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify manual tasks and recommend automation opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and turnaround time across data workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from GSN and AET teams to prioritize, define, develop, and validate data for various use cases as part of the end-to-end VOC process.
  • Story Elaboration & Software Support: Drive user story analysis and elaboration, contribute to design and development of supporting software programs, and assist in testing and build automation tools.
  • Performance Recommendations: Offer insights and recommendations to enhance capabilities that drive computing efficiency within the big data ecosystem.

Essential Qualifications

  • Hands-on development experience with Hive, Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages, with a track record of at least three years supporting data-driven projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with development release management in production-grade environments.
  • Proven ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Solid familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including the ability to ship small product increments at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with survey platforms such as Qualtrics or similar customer experience tools.
  • Knowledge of Cornerstone or other large data platforms used for customer feedback aggregation.
  • Prior exposure to Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, customer experience surveys, or Net Promoter Score (NPS) frameworks.
  • Experience working in remote, distributed, or hybrid team environments.
  • Familiarity with multilingual survey deployment and international data compliance standards.
