Remote School Social Worker
Role Overview Inner Radiant Soul Behavioral Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote School Social Worker to join our dynamic team in San Diego, California. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential support to students and their families in a remote school setting, helping them navigate emotional and social challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing emotional difficulties.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness.
- Work closely with school staff to create a supportive environment for all students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
