Position Overview

The Data Entry Support Worker is a critical member of the arenaxflex Adult Education office. In this remote role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of multiple databases, entering grant‑related data, and ensuring that student records are accurate, secure, and readily accessible. Your work will directly support program compliance, reporting deadlines, and the overall success of our learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Management: Oversee several databases, guaranteeing precise record‑keeping and organized data structures.
  • Grant Data Entry: Input required grant information into the National Reporting System (NRS) with meticulous accuracy to meet monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reporting timelines.
  • Attendance & Assessment Tracking: Maintain up‑to‑date attendance logs and assessment records, following established procedures and best practices.
  • FERPA Compliance: Safeguard student data in strict accordance with FERPA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper handling.
  • Error Checking & Data Clean‑up: Conduct regular audits, identify discrepancies, and perform data clean‑up activities within NRS to support reliable reporting.
  • Timely Data Accessibility: Provide staff and stakeholders with prompt access to accurate data, facilitating informed decision‑making.
  • Task Prioritization: Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet local, state, and program deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Student Outcome Monitoring: Track and evaluate student outcomes, including pre‑ and post‑testing results for state‑mandated assessments.
  • Collaboration & Development: Actively participate in virtual staff meetings, professional development sessions, and team initiatives.
  • Document Management: Scan, label, and archive physical documents; maintain organized digital filing systems.
  • Supply Inventory: Conduct regular inventory checks of office supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Word Processing & Mailings: Draft basic documents, prepare mailings, and assist with filing tasks.
  • Ad‑hoc Assignments: Take on additional responsibilities as directed to support the broader mission of arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with standard office practices and procedures.
