Position Overview

The Lead Director of Data Science, Patient Safety Analytics will spearhead a high‑performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers focused on developing and deploying AI/ML solutions that proactively identify and mitigate patient safety risks across arenaflex’s extensive pharmacy footprint. Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑year analytics roadmap that leverages machine learning, natural language processing, and advanced statistical methods to detect safety events in real time.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of 10‑15 data scientists, analysts, and engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development plans.
• Collaborate with senior business partners to translate clinical and operational challenges into data‑driven problem statements and solution designs.
• Design, build, and validate predictive models that prioritize high‑impact safety interventions across the pharmacy network.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end data pipeline—from ingestion of structured and unstructured data sources to model deployment and monitoring—ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and internal data‑privacy standards.
