What You Will Do at arenaflex
As a Data Analytics & Risk Intelligence Specialist at arenaflex, your work will directly support enterprise risk management (ERM), compliance, and threat evaluation efforts across the organization. You will serve as a bridge between raw data and the decision-makers who depend on it. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Identifying and Curating Critical Information: Gather, validate, and organize information that supports a wide variety of ERM and risk evaluation objectives, regulatory compliance requirements, and situational awareness initiatives across the business.
- Integrating Disparate Data Sources: Collect, process, and unify information from multiple information systems across U.S. and global business units. You will design intuitive dashboards that help stakeholders understand risk exposure and assess the maturity level of related internal controls.
- Building Custom Reports: Construct tailored reports and analytical outputs on demand to meet evolving business needs, ensuring that stakeholders always have the data they need at their fingertips.
- Applying Advanced Analytics: Leverage analytics techniques and modern tools to develop defensible, repeatable methodologies for evaluating risk, identifying trends, and forecasting potential issues before they become problems.
- Translating Data into Stories: Draw meaningful insights, patterns, and correlations from data and communicate your findings clearly to compliance professionals, attorneys, business leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Surfacing Emerging Risk Areas: Provide input on new and emerging risk areas through data-driven analysis, contributing to a proactive rather than reactive risk posture.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Solicit feedback from stakeholders and help refine and elevate arenaflex's ERM and risk assessment processes over time.

Essential Qualifications
- SQL Mastery: You have deep, hands-on SQL knowledge and can write complex queries, optimize performance, and manipulate large datasets with confidence.
- Visualization Tool Proficiency: You are skilled with modern BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku.
- Domain Experience: You have experience working on legal, compliance, enterprise risk management, or risk evaluation projects in a professional setting.
- Storytelling with Data: You are adept at generating impactful visualizations and using data to inform a compelling story that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Programming Skills: You can code using R or Python to perform advanced analyses, automate workflows, and build reproducible models.
- Strong Communication Skills: You own robust verbal and written communication skills and can translate complex findings into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives.
