Consumer and Small Business Loan Processor II
Elevations Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial institution serving Colorado’s Front Range. The Consumer and Small Business Loan Processor II collaborates with Financial Solutions Guides, members, underwriters, and vendors to process and prepare consumer and small business loans for closing, ensuring all underwriting conditions are met and coordinating loan closings.
Responsibilities
- Obtains and verifies borrower information and documentation
- Verifies that underwriting conditions and/or stipulations are met
- Prepares loan packages for closing in person as well as electronically; coordinates settlement dates and disburses funds
- Begin learning and training on how to perfect auto liens
- Continuously evaluate and improve payment processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and member satisfaction
Skills
- 1 year of Loan Processing or Consumer Lending experience in a financial service institution or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data entry, ten key by touch, Word, Excel, Internet
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
