About the Role

The Remote Data Entry Specialist position is a foundational role within arenaflex's marketplace operations team. You will be responsible for acquiring, organizing, and managing critical product and seller data that drives decision-making across the organization. This includes studying product selection gaps, supporting go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and helping attract key marketplace players to join our thriving e-commerce ecosystem.

This role is chartered with acquiring, developing, and managing high-value data sets that enhance new product selection, competitive pricing, and overall customer convenience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our marketplace offers the best possible experience for both buyers and sellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Analysis: Develop a thorough understanding of marketplace segments, seasonal trends, and global e-commerce developments. Monitor competitor activities regularly to identify opportunities and challenges for arenaflex.
  • Seller Acquisition Support: Identify, research, and prospect high-potential sellers for our platform. Assist in outreach efforts through data-driven communications, virtual events, and presentation support.
  • Data Management and Accuracy: Maintain high standards of data integrity by accurately entering, updating, and managing product information, seller details, pricing data, and inventory records within arenaflex's systems.
  • Seller Onboarding Assistance: Guide new sellers through the registration and setup process by sharing best practices for online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery performance, customer experience, and business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor-related issues. Communicate effectively across teams to ensure smooth operations and positive outcomes.
  • Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports on marketplace trends, seller performance, and product selection gaps. Use these insights to recommend strategies that maximize our product selection and expand our customer base.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the marketplace operations team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree is required. Candidates with degrees in business administration, marketing, communications, economics, or related fields are strongly preferred.
  • Sales or Business Experience: Ideal candidates should possess 1 to 3 years of successful business-class sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries. Recent graduates with strong internships and demonstrated achievements are also encouraged to apply.
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated achievement in meeting or exceeding targets using consultative and solutions-focused approaches. Experience with data-driven decision-making is highly valued.
  • Market Expansion Experience: Experience promoting new products or services into emerging markets is strongly favored. This includes understanding market dynamics, identifying growth opportunities, and executing entry strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication abilities. You must be comfortable presenting ideas, negotiating with stakeholders, and crafting clear, compelling messages.
  • Technical Proficiency: A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs. Familiarity with CRM systems, data management platforms, and e-commerce tools is a plus.
