Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Remote Clinical Data Entry Specialist to join our Centralized Services team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our pharmacy data operations, ensuring that medication records, patient interactions, and compliance documentation are captured accurately and promptly. You will work closely with pharmacists, clinical managers, and external partners to support initiatives that drive clinical quality, financial performance, and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Capture & Validation: Enter, review, and verify prescription data, medication histories, and patient encounter notes in arenaflex’s electronic health record (EHR) system with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Clinical Program Support: Assist with the execution of pharmacy‑centric programs such as medication therapy management (MTM), immunization services, and payer‑pharma adherence initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct routine audits of entered data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain high data integrity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data entry activities adhere to FDA regulations, state pharmacy board standards, and HIPAA privacy rules.
  • Financial Performance: Support revenue‑cycle initiatives by accurately documenting services that impact reimbursement, including specialty pharmacy programs and patient counseling sessions.
  • Patient Interaction: Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to patients via phone or secure messaging, addressing medication‑related inquiries and guiding them through the pharmacy experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Current pharmacist license issued by the appropriate state board (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with a strong emphasis on data handling, medication dispensing, or clinical support.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with pharmacy management software or EHR platforms.
