Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous, motivated, and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team at arenaflex. In this role, you will play a vital part in organizing and processing critical information that supports provider credentialing, regulatory compliance, and healthcare decision-making nationwide.

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for efficiently inputting a wide variety of data into our proprietary FACIS database. The information you handle will include board orders, meeting minutes, press releases, regulatory documents, and other essential records. Your contributions will directly support our mission of maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency for some of the nation's most respected healthcare organizations.

Important Location Requirement: This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered for employment: Colorado (CO), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kansas (KS), Kentucky (KY), Massachusetts (MA), Maine (ME), Maryland (MD), Missouri (MO), Michigan (MI), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Oklahoma (OK), Pennsylvania (PA), Utah (UT), Tennessee (TN), Wisconsin (WI), or Virginia (VA).

Work Environment Requirement: Candidates must have a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions to ensure productivity and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your day-to-day contributions will include the following:

  • Document Analysis and Data Extraction: Carefully analyze a variety of source documents to identify and extract relevant data for entry into the FACIS database, ensuring complete accuracy and consistency.
  • Research and Source Verification: Conduct additional research as needed, including contacting data authorities and source organizations for clarification on how to interpret specific documents or data points.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with management, peers, and stakeholders regarding data processes, acquisition methods, and transformation procedures.
  • Process Articulation: Clearly articulate data transformation processes to team members and supervisors, contributing to a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Project Flexibility: Take on additional periodic and ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to support team priorities.
  • Self-Management: Work independently with limited oversight, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability for daily output and quality.
  • Resource Utilization: Use provided resources, documentation, and tools to answer questions before seeking assistance from supervisors or colleagues.
  • Quality and Efficiency Standards: Consistently meet or exceed established quality benchmarks and efficiency targets for data processing.
  • Queue Management: Complete all items within the Data Entry queue in a timely and accurate manner, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an especially strong candidate:

  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in roles involving provider data, credentialing, or compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in data entry and data comparison, ideally in a production-oriented or quality-focused environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience in data entry and comparison is highly valued.

Compensation
