Shape the Future of Entertainment Technology at arenaflex

Welcome to arenaflex, where imagination meets innovation and where the world's most beloved stories are reimagined for the digital age. At arenaflex, we are building more than just products — we are crafting experiences that touch millions of lives every single day. From streaming platforms that bring families together in front of their screens, to cutting-edge digital media ecosystems that redefine how audiences consume sports, entertainment, and news, every team member plays a role in shaping the future of global media.

If you have ever dreamed of combining your passion for data with the excitement of working at the forefront of the entertainment industry, this is your moment. We are seeking a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Entry-Level Technology Data Analyst I to join our dynamic Technology Planning and Analysis team within our Business Operations division. This is an extraordinary opportunity for early-career professionals who want to launch a meaningful career, build technical fluency in modern data tools, and contribute to high-impact projects that influence the strategic direction of a global media powerhouse.

At arenaflex, we believe that data is the storytelling engine of tomorrow. Every chart, every model, every dashboard you help build will inform decisions that shape how millions of viewers around the world engage with the content they love. Whether you are passionate about streaming services, live sports broadcasting, digital advertising, or media technology infrastructure, your work here will ripple across the global entertainment landscape.

About the Role and the Team

As a Technology Data Analyst I at arenaflex, you will be embedded within a collaborative, fast-paced team that serves as the connective tissue of our Technology organization. Our Business Operations team partners with engineering, product, design, operations, and support leaders across the entire business to bring clarity, structure, and foresight to every decision. We are the trusted advisors who translate data into strategy, who connect the dots between financial planning, project prioritization, resource management, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with senior analysts and cross-functional partners to design scalable analytical frameworks that evaluate the work flowing through our technology roadmap. Your analyses will influence decisions related to cost modeling, project sequencing, dependency mapping, prioritization, and taxonomy development. You will be the person who turns ambiguity into clarity, who transforms raw data into compelling narratives, and who ensures that every stakeholder — from engineers to executives — has the information they need to make confident, data-driven decisions.

If you are a logical thinker with a natural curiosity, a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments, and a problem-solver who is energized by complexity, you will find a home here. We celebrate intellectual curiosity, we reward initiative, and we invest deeply in the growth of our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain Robust Data Models: Integrate multiple data sources to construct multi-dimensional analytical frameworks that support strategic decision-making across the entire technology organization.
  • Design and Deploy Actionable Dashboards: Create intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and self-service analytics tools that empower end users to make data-informed decisions with speed and confidence.
  • Develop Strategic Decision Frameworks: Author scripts and build automation pipelines that help the team scale its analytical capabilities, reducing manual effort and increasing analytical precision.
  • Partner with Stakeholders to Define Success: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish clear goals, define measurable objectives, identify key results, and select the right metrics to track business performance.
  • Serve as a Steward of the Technology Roadmap: Maintain visibility into the status of initiatives, communicate progress and plans to partners, and ensure alignment between day-to-day execution and long-term strategic priorities.
  • Drive Organizational Impact: Navigate ambiguity, manage multiple competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality work that advances team and business objectives.
  • Champion a Data-Driven Culture: Act as a thought partner and advocate for analytical rigor, helping teammates across the business unlock the power of data in their daily work.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Foundational Knowledge of Analytics: Demonstrated understanding of informatics, data analysis, or management consulting — ideally with hands-on exposure in a quantitative or data-intensive role (internships, academic projects, or entry-level work experience all count).
  • Technical Proficiency with Modern Data Tools: Working knowledge of programming and data manipulation languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience building dashboards using visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or similar tools is highly valued.
  • Comfort with Database Queries and Scripting: Ability to write efficient database queries, automate repetitive tasks, and manipulate data at scale.
  • Understanding of the Technology Landscape: Familiarity with various existing and emerging technologies, their ecosystems, and how different technical roles collaborate to launch new products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working alongside engineering and operational teams, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: A proactive, driven approach to your work, with strong strategic thinking skills, sound judgment, and a track record of delivering excellent results with minimal supervision.
  • User-Centric Mindset: A passion for creating great experiences for end users and a thoughtful perspective on what makes analytics products intuitive, useful, and delightful.
  • Curiosity and Tenacity: A creative, resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the willingness to dive deep into details and the motivation to be among the first to tackle new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience or strong academic exposure to the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, including product management or consulting.
  • Familiarity with the online video ecosystem, digital advertising, or media technology landscape.
  • Experience supporting product launches or working within agile, fast-paced technology environments.

Education

We welcome candidates from a variety of academic backgrounds. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field. Equivalent practical experience — such as bootcamp completion, substantial project work, or relevant internships — will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

At arenaflex, we believe that great work deserves great rewards. The hiring range for this position is competitive and based on a 40-hour work week, with adjustments possible based on business needs. The base salary offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location, relevant work experience, technical skills, and other factors.

For candidates based in California, the hiring range is $77,300 to $103,600 per year. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and long-term incentive units. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health and Wellness: Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and their families.
  • Financial Security: Retirement savings plans with company contributions, life insurance, and disability coverage.
  • Time Off: Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and parental leave programs to help you recharge and care for your loved ones.
  • Learning and Development: Access to conferences, workshops, online learning platforms, and mentorship programs designed to accelerate your career growth.
  • Hybrid Work Flexibility: A flexible work environment that supports in-office collaboration and remote productivity.
  • Employee Perks: Discounts on entertainment, theme park experiences, merchandise, and more — because we believe in enjoying the magic we help create.
