Remote School Psychologist | North Carolina
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, located in Chapel Hill, NC. This position offers a chance to provide psychological assessment, consultation, and support to students through remote methods within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to school psychology and telehealth
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Psychology Board license
- Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction school psychology license
- Experience with telehealth service delivery methods preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Knowledge of educational laws, special education processes, and psychological assessment tools
