As an Entry‑Level Remote Data Entry & Reconciliation Analyst, you will be the backbone of arenaflex’s daily trade processing engine. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every buy, sell, dividend, and transfer transaction is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. By safeguarding the integrity of client and advisor accounts, you directly contribute to client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the overall reputation of arenaflex.

Role Overview

This fully remote position is open to candidates based in the United States. You will work closely with retail and institutional teams, fund administrators, transfer agents, and external partners. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve processing trade orders, identifying and resolving breaks, handling corporate actions, and supporting the resolution of complex escalations. You will also be a key participant in testing new technology enhancements and service‑delivery improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade & Transfer Processing: Accurately enter buy, sell, and transfer orders into client accounts, ensuring timely settlement.
  • Break Identification & Resolution: Detect discrepancies between arenaflex records and fund administrators, then investigate and correct them.
  • Corporate Action Management: Process and reconcile corporate events such as dividends, mergers, spin‑offs, and rights offerings.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance reporting requirements (e.g., Form 2340, Rule 15c3‑3) by maintaining precise transaction logs.
  • Reconciliation & Settlement: Perform daily reconciliations of business, dividend, and transfer breaks, and ensure all settlements are posted correctly.
  • Issue Investigation: Conduct root‑cause analysis on internal and external tickets, escalating when necessary.
  • Technology Testing & Validation: Participate in functional testing of new system releases, providing feedback on enhancements.
  • Client & Advisor Support: Respond to inquiries via arenaflex‑managed communication channels (email, phone, arenaflex chat, arenaflex CRM) with professionalism and speed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all actions taken, and generate daily/weekly status reports for senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest process optimizations and automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and error rates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot inconsistencies and resolve them efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of securities trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and corporate actions.
