About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Legal Entity Reporting Center of Excellence at arenaflex. This critical role focuses on legal and administrative reporting for legal entities, including complex legal structures, diverse business lines, and multi-currency operations. The successful candidate will support local legal reviews for various legal entities across our global regions while ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently prepare financial statements according to broad IFRS legal reporting requirements on a timely basis against plan
• Independently prepare Board and other committee reporting packs according to the delivery schedule
• Lead end-to-end legal entity audit as directed by Delivery Lead/Chief Legal Entity Reporter (LER), Accounting and Reporting Team and Financial Controller
• Prepare local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliation, assessing material differences for GAAP variations
• Lead client calls and provide analysis of reporting information, as directed by Delivery Lead/Chief LER, Accounting and Reporting Team and Legal Entity Financial Controller to support board meetings
• Manage delivery of multiple markets simultaneously and perform peer level review or consolidation
• Manage work and provide leadership and support to team members
• Lead research as required on GAAP, regulations, and compliance matters
• Ensure effective controls and governance are adhered to
• Research and collaborate with auditors/clients to provide clarification/resolution of issues and inquiries
• Proficient in Workiva Wdesk and HFM implementation for legal, regulatory and board reporting
• Lead projects including automation, standardization, and process improvement
• Report to Delivery Lead, LER CoE

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
• Strong preference for Qualified Accountant/CA/CPA/ACCA with relevant experience
• Public Accounting/Audit experience/Legal Entity Reporting and Control background

Functional Skills

• A strong financial accounting/reporting background including understanding of regulatory requirements
• Excellent understanding of IFRS and reporting requirements
• Change and project management exposure, including progression of reporting work from offshore
• A quick/sharp learner with the ability to rapidly learn detailed processes
• Ability to share technical knowledge and proactively encourage others to do the same
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of governance frameworks and company values

Technical Skills

• Strong technical accounting foundation and experience in accounting, legal/regulatory reporting or legal auditing
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS GAAP and reporting requirements
• Good understanding of US GAAP and other GAAP frameworks is beneficial
• In-depth knowledge of arenaflex Policies, Procedures and Systems
• Knowledge of Workiva Wdesk is a plus
• High proficiency in MS-Office applications
• Working knowledge of Essbase/analytics software, Oracle

Key Success Factors

• Lead end-to-end legal entity audit as directed by Delivery Lead/Chief Legal Entity Reporter (LER), and Financial Controller
• Ability to respond to changes in reporting requirements as directed by Financial Controller, to determine how to accommodate changes, offering analytical support to translate requirements into technology and resource allocation
