The Senior Data Analytics & Financial Risk Analyst Role

As a Senior Data Analytics & Financial Risk Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be instrumental in supporting our regional Finance, Risk Management, and Marketing teams with all aspects of Loss Provision. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with international card portfolios, develop sophisticated forecasting models, and present findings to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Support Provision & Recoveries Forecasting: Work closely with Chief Credit Officers across regions to provide specialized support for recoveries forecasting and results analysis of our international card portfolios
• Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Develop and deliver key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management, highlighting trends and drivers that influence long-term planning
• Model Development & Enhancement: Provide thought leadership in the development and enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models and strategic business analytics
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across the Risk Finance organization on projects that support arenaflex's long-term growth targets and strategic objectives
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that guide financial strategy

Essential Qualifications

• Financial Analytics Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large datasets in a corporate environment
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel modeling capabilities with a high degree of scalability in presentation tools like PowerPoint
• Database & Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Hive, or Yellow Brick; Python experience is strongly preferred
• Data Visualization: Experience with TM1, Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools is highly desirable
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• Industry Experience: Previous card or risk management experience and/or 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred
