Why This Role Matters

The Integrated Data Analyst position is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s Flight Operations Safety ecosystem. You will serve as the subject‑matter expert for the Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT), translating raw data into actionable insights that drive training improvements, safety enhancements, and regulatory compliance. Your work directly influences the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) and helps ensure that every flight instructor, evaluator, and crew member operates with the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory deadlines.
• Administer all updates and enhancements to the IDCAT software platform, supporting user feedback loops for flight instructors and evaluators.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support for IDCAT, including account management, new command assistance, and troubleshooting.
• Download, cleanse, and load Tableau data to the arenaflex server, populating and maintaining up‑to‑date dashboards for senior leadership.
• Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks and dashboards, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable visual stories.
• Classify and aggregate instructor/evaluator measurement tools and feedback, ensuring consistency across training assessments.
• Support the design and execution of IDCAT observation forms, generating data collection worksheets that align with operational standards.
• Conduct daily training data analyses as defined in AC 120‑54A, identifying performance gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist with quarterly data reviews for the Data Integration Group (DIG) and AQP, delivering precise data requests to support Flight Ops Training staff.
• Execute IDCAT Inter‑Rater Reliability analyses and facilitate the development of IDCAT training content.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, contributing to cross‑functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Aviation Management, or a related field; high school diploma or GED is also required.
• Experience: Minimum 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, data visualization, and database management, preferably within an aviation or transportation environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Tableau (or comparable BI tools), Alteryx, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FAA reporting requirements, AC 120‑54A, and the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) framework.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large, complex datasets with meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.

• Experience working with airline safety data, flight operations, or pilot training programs.
• Advanced statistical knowledge (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing) and familiarity with statistical software such as R or Python.
