Position Overview

The Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, andmaintaining healthcare data in our database systems. This role requires exceptional attention to detail,strong typing skills, and a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Accurate Data Entry: Conduct data entry tasks from various sources, including medical records, insurance forms, patient intake documents, and healthcare provider information, into our database systems with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity: Review and verify entered data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Identify and correct any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Security: Uphold strict confidentiality and security standards for all sensitive healthcare information. Comply with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex security protocols to protect patient data.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure data consistency and quality across all systems. Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve processes.
  • Perform Data Cleanup and Validation: Engage in data cleanup and validation activities to improve data quality. Identify patterns in errors and recommend process improvements.
  • Use Data Entry Software: Proficiently utilize data entry software and tools provided by arenaflex. Stay current with new technologies and software updates.
  • Meet Productivity Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy standards. Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding any data issues, questions, or concerns. Provide updates on work progress and any challenges encountered.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Attend required training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities offered by arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or training in data entry, healthcare administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in data entry or a similar role is required. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Typing Skills: Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute (WPM) and accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in data. Must be meticulous and thorough in all work performed.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable learning new software applications quickly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and disciplined in a remote work environment.
