As a Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting cross‑functional teams, and helping arenaflex maintain its reputation for reliability and excellence.

Role Overview

This position is fully remote and part‑time, offering flexible hours that can accommodate a variety of schedules. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and executive stakeholders to collect, cleanse, and load large, complex data sets. Your contributions will directly influence operational performance, customer acquisition strategies, and the scalability of arenaflex’s data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Assembly & Validation: Gather and assemble large, complex data sets that meet both non‑functional and functional business requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement internal process enhancements, including redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual workflows.
  • ETL Development: Build and maintain robust extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines using AWS services and SQL technologies to support diverse data sources.
  • Analytics Enablement: Develop analytical tools that leverage the data pipeline, delivering actionable insights into key business performance metrics such as operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data, design, product, and engineering teams to resolve data‑related technical issues and support their infrastructure needs.
  • Executive Support: Work alongside executive, product, data, and design groups to align data infrastructure with strategic objectives while addressing technical challenges.
  • Tool Development & Adaptation: Create or modify tools and processes to meet evolving user requirements, ensuring that solutions remain user‑friendly and effective.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other process‑related tasks as directed by your manager, contributing to the overall success of the data team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data entry, data management, or a related field, preferably in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda) and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement process automation using scripting languages (Python, Bash) or workflow tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Commitment to uphold arenaflex’s values of respect, care, and a customer‑centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices for data security and compliance.
  • Prior exposure to the travel, airline, or logistics industry, providing context for operational data flows.
  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty) or related cloud credentials.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of SQL queries, data modeling, and cloud‑based data services.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to dissect complex problems, evaluate multiple factors, and devise effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, with a track record of partnering across functional groups to achieve shared goals.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating changing priorities and evolving technology landscapes.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy, ensuring high‑quality outputs.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding of how data impacts the end‑customer experience and a commitment to delivering value.
