Key Responsibilities

The Data Entry & Analytics Specialist will serve as a strategic partner to the Network Planning team, translating complex data sets into actionable insights that drive route development, fleet planning, and operational efficiency. Core duties include:

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders in Network Planning, Operations, and Commercial teams to align on multi‑project initiatives and ensure data consistency.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large‑scale scheduling and performance datasets using SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Develop compelling, data‑driven presentations and visualizations that clearly communicate findings to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Identify trends in historical profitability, load factors, and operational metrics to forecast future performance and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of network design models, connectivity matrices, and scheduling algorithms, supporting fleet expansion and capacity planning.
  • Provide clear, concise written and verbal summaries that translate technical analysis into business‑focused recommendations.
  • Navigate the complexities of multiple stakeholder groups, managing expectations and delivering results on time and within scope.
  • Support ad‑hoc analytical projects and special initiatives as directed by leadership, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business needs.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills. Required qualifications include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with SQL (writing complex queries, data manipulation), Microsoft Access, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Tableau (dashboard creation), and Alteryx (workflow automation).
  • Analytical Experience: Minimum 2‑3 years of hands‑on data analysis in a fast‑paced environment, preferably within transportation, logistics, or a similarly data‑intensive industry.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences, supported by strong written and verbal presentation abilities.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Demonstrated track record of identifying root causes, developing data‑driven solutions, and influencing decision‑makers.
