Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics – Trust & Safety Operations (Remote, $24/Hr)
Join arenaflex as a Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics – Trust & Safety
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the integrity of online platforms is more critical than ever. At arenaflex, we are committed to building safer, more trustworthy digital ecosystems where users, creators, and communities can thrive without fear of abuse, fraud, or manipulation. We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and technically accomplished leader to step into the role of Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics within our Trust & Safety division. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity offering a competitive hourly rate of $24/hour, with eight-hour workdays and the chance to make a global impact from the comfort of your home.
This is not a traditional data entry position. While the original job posting carried that label, the actual scope of this role is far more strategic and senior. We are looking for an experienced executive who can blend data science, analytics leadership, abuse-prevention strategy, and team management into a single force for platform safety. If you have a deep background in risk management, fraud fighting, large-scale analytics, and leading global teams, this is your opportunity to lead at the highest level within one of the most consequential areas of the digital economy.
About arenaflex and the Trust & Safety Mission
arenaflex is a forward-thinking technology organization dedicated to creating digital environments that empower users to express themselves, connect authentically, and explore content with confidence. Our Trust & Safety team operates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, public policy, and human judgment. We work tirelessly to identify, analyze, and mitigate adversarial threats — including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, ban evasion, and emerging harms driven by generative AI and other evolving technologies.
The Adversarial Abuse and Analytics team is the analytical and operational heart of arenaflex's Trust & Safety organization. We partner with Product Management, Engineering, Policy Development, and Global Vendor Operations to detect abuse earlier, enforce policies more fairly, and publish transparency reporting that helps the world understand how we protect our communities. As the Senior Director, you will set the strategic direction for both the Adversarial Abuse team and the Business Analytics team, ensuring we stay ahead of bad actors in a threat landscape that changes by the hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying, disrupting, and removing bad actors engaged in account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, ban evasion, and other large-scale abuse patterns across the platform.
- Direct the Business Analytics team in measuring abuse trends, quantifying unaddressed harms, generating actionable insights, and producing Transparency Reports for global regulatory and public audiences.
- Anticipate and mitigate emerging threats from new industry trends, including generative AI, synthetic media abuse, and adversarial tactics that evolve faster than traditional detection systems can react.
- Partner with Policy Development to craft policies rooted in account signals, social graph behavior, and content indicators that accurately characterize toxic or harmful conduct.
- Drive operational excellence across a global team operating 24x7, maintaining high standards of quality, service levels, and timely enforcement at scale.
- Engage, retain, manage, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous growth within a distributed, high-performing organization.
- Lead incident response and escalations with rapid turnaround, providing data-driven and content-driven insights while building durable relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate on product and policy launches that meaningfully reduce adversarial abuse, contributing analytical rigor and operational experience from the earliest design stages.
- Contribute to infrastructure and tooling decisions by partnering with Engineering to ensure the data foundations and machine learning models can keep pace with shifting abuse patterns.
- Provide transparent, strategic reporting to executive leadership, translating complex abuse data into clear narratives that drive business and policy decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building or delivering analytical solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience working alongside engineering teams that develop data infrastructure and machine learning models.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams, with the demonstrated ability to support non-standard work hours when escalations demand it.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in a related field such as analytics, engineering, or data science.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing large datasets and detecting anomalies in high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated interest or direct experience in anti-abuse operations, content moderation, or platform integrity work.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, R, or MATLAB for advanced data analysis and modeling.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Sharp business judgment, strategic thinking, and analytical rigor — including the ability to use data to shape strategy and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving industry.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Strategic Vision: The ability to see the abuse landscape months and years ahead, not just weeks, and to architect organizational responses that scale.
- Analytical Excellence: Deep comfort with statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and the translation of raw data into defensible insights.
- Leadership and People Development: A track record of building, coaching, and retaining high-performing global teams, including during periods of rapid change.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: The diplomacy and clarity to partner effectively with Engineering, Product, Policy, Legal, and Vendor Operations.
- Crisis Management: Composure and decisiveness during escalations, on-call rotations, and time-sensitive incidents.
- Ethical Judgment: A grounded commitment to user safety, free expression, and principled enforcement in ambiguous situations.
Career Growth and Learning Opportunities
At arenaflex, we believe that protecting the digital world is a career, not just a job. As the Senior Director of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics, you will operate at the highest levels of strategic decision-making, working alongside seasoned leaders in product, engineering, policy, and data science. We invest heavily in our leaders' continued growth through executive coaching, conference participation, advanced technical training, and rotational opportunities across adjacent domains. Whether you want to deepen your expertise in machine learning-driven abuse detection, expand into broader trust and safety policy leadership, or build the foundation for a chief-level role, arenaflex provides the platform and the support to help you get there.

This role will require periodic on-call coverage on weekends and holidays on a rotational basis, but we are committed to sustainable workloads and meaningful recovery time for our team members.
Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $24/hour, paid consistently with full-time expectations of 8 hours per day.
- Employment Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity with arenaflex.
- Remote Flexibility: Work from home with the equipment and stipends you need to do your best work.
