Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote IT Service Engineer to join arenaflex’s Warehouse Technology Support team. This role blends hands‑on technical troubleshooting with strategic project leadership, providing critical infrastructure support for our state‑of‑the‑art distribution centers. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Warehouse Operations team on the DC floor to understand daily workflows and proactively address technology pain points.
  • Diagnose and resolve a broad spectrum of technical issues, including Windows Server, network connectivity, and warehouse hardware failures.
  • Manage and prioritize tickets in ServiceNow, ensuring timely communication and resolution for both on‑site and remote end‑users.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and business teams to troubleshoot high‑impact incidents, delivering accurate data and actionable solutions.
  • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives by identifying recurring problems, performing root‑cause analysis, and implementing standardized processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and evolving warehousing trends to keep arenaflex ahead of the curve.
  • Take ownership of complex, end‑to‑end issues, employing a data‑driven approach to gather information, ask clarifying questions, and devise effective fixes.
  • Oversee and drive technical projects that impact the local site, such as hardware rollouts, software imaging campaigns, and network upgrades.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting peers to achieve collective goals and maintaining a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
  • Provide flexible support for day‑to‑day operational needs, including participation in rotational or on‑call shifts as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on IT support experience, ideally within a distribution‑center or similar high‑volume environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Windows Server environments and Active Directory issues (including Group Policy and user profile management).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, VoIP, and Cisco/Aruba switching and routing equipment.
  • Proficiency with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software imaging, deployment, and patch management.
  • Experience supporting warehouse‑specific hardware such as RFID scanners, label printers, and specialized peripherals.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, concise technical reports and knowledge‑base articles.
  • Excellent customer service orientation, combined with meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Windows Server certifications.

  • Familiarity with email, FTP, and HTTP troubleshooting.
  • Prior exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
