Position Overview – Remote Data Entry & Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry & Analytics Specialist to join the Operational Asset Planning (OAP) team at arenaflex. In this role you will be the backbone of data‑driven decision making, ensuring that critical operational data is captured accurately, transformed into actionable insights, and delivered to senior leaders across the organization. Your work will directly influence how we allocate aircraft, optimize crew schedules, and enhance the overall passenger experience.

Why This Role Matters

The reputation of arenaflex depends on flawless execution of every flight. The OAP team supports that mission by providing data‑rich analyses that guide strategic asset planning, cost efficiency, and service reliability. As a Senior Analyst‑type Data Entry Specialist, you will blend meticulous data stewardship with analytical creativity, turning raw numbers into strategic recommendations that keep our planes in the air and our customers smiling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, validate, and maintain large volumes of operational data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
  • Develop and refine predictive models that forecast aircraft and crew demand, enabling proactive asset allocation across all arenaflex hubs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional ACS (Asset Coordination Services) teams to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
  • Analyze asset utilization trends, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimized routing or scheduling alternatives.
  • Produce and disseminate regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Research emerging best practices in asset planning, data analytics, and aviation operations to keep arenaflex at the forefront of industry innovation.
  • Source, cleanse, and integrate data from disparate internal and external systems, building robust data pipelines for ongoing analysis.
  • Design and maintain analytical dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into asset performance, capacity constraints, and operational risk.
  • Partner with data scientists to develop advanced statistical models, machine‑learning algorithms, and scenario‑planning tools.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings in clear, concise presentations tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Act as an internal consultant to business partners, offering data‑based guidance that drives operational excellence.
  • Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and data security for yourself, colleagues, and the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, GED, or equivalent high‑school certification; a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and Tableau (or similar visualization platforms).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret operational metrics and translate them into strategic actions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of crafting executive‑level presentations and reports.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with self‑motivation and disciplined time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with collaborative tools (e.g., Teams, Slack).
  • Commitment to personal and data security best practices, adhering to industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, embracing varied perspectives and collaborative problem‑solving.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in a quantitative discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of aviation industry standards, aircraft scheduling, and crew management concepts.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and machine‑learning frameworks.
  • Project management certification (PMP, Agile) or demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience working in a global, multicultural environment.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
  • Problem Solving: Creative approach to overcoming operational challenges and optimizing asset utilization.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork orientation, comfortable partnering with engineers, operations, finance, and senior leadership.
