Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve and close tickets and work orders related to end‑user workstations, peripherals, and network connectivity.
  • Provide first‑line support for client‑raised issues via the Helpdesk, ensuring timely and courteous communication.
  • Participate as a project team member on global initiatives, including hardware rollouts, software upgrades, and workstation redesigns.
  • Utilize remote tools to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems without on‑site presence.
  • Collaborate with regional IT teams to address infrastructure‑related challenges and share best practices.
  • Document client interactions in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate records of actions taken and resources used.
  • Recover data from hard drives or perform data migrations as required, adhering to data‑security policies.
  • Maintain remote access for virtual private networks (VPN) and ensure secure broadband connectivity for all workstations.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot both local and network printers, providing support for print‑related issues.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software components to minimize downtime.
  • Be on‑call for emergencies, travel to remote sites when necessary, and support critical incidents outside regular business hours.
  • Follow corporate policies, align with arenaflex’s IT strategy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications: Minimum of two years of verifiable, hands‑on IT experience supporting and troubleshooting workstation hardware and software. Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
  • Technical Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting Windows‑based workstations in a TCP/IP environment, with a solid understanding of Windows 10 operating system.
  • Network Knowledge: Familiarity with VPN technologies, ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform occasional on‑site tasks.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in an airline or airport IT environment, understanding of industry‑specific applications and regulations.
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, Cisco CCNA, or related specialties.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
