Position Overview

You will work closely with cross‑functional partners—including finance, product, engineering, and senior leadership—to design, develop, and deploy data‑centric solutions that drive measurable value for arenaxflex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and communicate advanced quantitative analyses and predictive models that inform pricing, revenue optimization, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data‑engineering tools to ingest, cleanse, and transform raw data into analytics‑ready datasets.
  • Collaborate with product managers, finance analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
  • Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior executives, tailoring communication style to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Maintain high‑quality code standards through peer reviews, version control, and documentation, ensuring reproducibility and auditability of analytical work.
  • Lead hypothesis‑driven experimentation, testing assumptions, and validating model performance against real‑world outcomes.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the analytics community.
  • Support the rollout of analytical tools and dashboards, providing training and troubleshooting assistance to end‑users.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in machine learning, statistical methods, and airline revenue management to propose innovative approaches.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Technical Experience: Minimum 0–2 years of professional experience with SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis and model development.
  • Statistical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative research, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time‑series forecasting.
  • Data Engineering Skills: Experience building data pipelines, performing data cleaning, and preparing datasets for modeling.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities; capable of translating complex analytical concepts into clear business insights.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: Proven track record of independently identifying business problems, formulating analytical approaches, and delivering actionable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Operations Research, or Business Analytics.
  • Hands‑on experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and advanced modeling techniques.
  • Background in airline revenue management, pricing strategy, or related transportation analytics.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment, collaborating with product owners and engineering squads.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to dissect large, complex datasets, identify patterns, and draw statistically sound conclusions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understanding of how pricing and revenue decisions impact overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with diverse stakeholders across finance, product, engineering, and operations.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑changing environment, quickly learning new tools and methodologies as business needs evolve.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data quality, model validation, and documentation.
  • Leadership Potential: Ability to guide peers, share knowledge, and influence decision‑making through data‑driven storytelling.
