Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet passengers and assist them through the ticketing and baggage‑check process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s computer systems to issue, re‑print, and modify tickets, maintaining accuracy and compliance with airline policies.
  • Manage the check‑in workflow, confirming that travelers possess the correct documentation for their journeys.
  • Handle baggage operations, including labeling, loading, and transporting items from the scale to the conveyor belt, with occasional lifting of items up to 70 pounds.
  • Demonstrate and enforce safety and security protocols at every stage of the passenger handling process.
  • Provide real‑time assistance with seat assignments, boarding announcements, flight status updates, and baggage inquiries.
  • Prepare aircraft doors and loading zones, supporting the ground‑handling team before aircraft arrival and departure.
  • Assist unaccompanied minors and passengers with reduced mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the terminal.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area, adhering to arenaflex’s health‑and‑safety standards.
  • Respond promptly to passenger questions, offering clear, courteous, and accurate information in both English and Spanish.
  • Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational demands.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Legal Eligibility: Must possess valid documentation to live and work in the United States.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English; bilingual ability in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with ticketing software and point‑of‑sale systems.
