About the Role

Blooming Health is building a first-of-its-kind network of community-based organizations (CBOs) across areas like food access, transportation, benefits navigation, and social services. This network will connect directly with health plans and hospital systems to help close gaps in care and improve outcomes for underserved communities. We’re hiring a Network Growth Manager to help build and scale this initiative from the ground up. This is a founding role on a new growth initiative. You’ll own the end-to-end process of identifying, recruiting, engaging, and onboarding CBOs state by state. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Tech Ops, and Customer Success to turn strategy into execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from zero to one, can operate independently, and is comfortable moving between partnerships, sales, operations, and community engagement. What You’ll Do Build and Grow the CBO Network Own the full CBO recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and outreach through sessions, intake, onboarding, and handoff to Customer Success. Identify high-priority CBOs across key service areas, including food, transportation, benefits, housing, and social services. Build and manage a repeatable state-by-state expansion model. Lead Outreach and Engagement Develop and execute multi-channel outreach strategies, including warm referrals, SDR campaigns, marketing partnerships, and in-person events. Host virtual and in-person CBO information sessions. Position Blooming Health as a trusted operational partner for mission-driven community organizations. Build strong relationships with CBO leaders and community stakeholders. Partner Cross-Functionally Coordinate closely with Enterprise Sales to leverage payer and provider relationships for warm introductions. Work with Implementation and Tech Ops to ensure committed CBOs move through onboarding efficiently. Partner with Customer Success to create a smooth handoff once organizations are ready to launch. Collaborate with Marketing on case studies, testimonials, LinkedIn content, and other materials that support future network growth. Test, Learn, and Scale Experiment with new approaches to CBO recruitment and engagement. Learn quickly from what works and what doesn’t. Help build the playbook for future state and market expansion. Track and report on network growth metrics, including CBO targets by vertical, onboarding velocity, referral activity, and engagement outcomes. What We’re Looking For Required 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, community growth, sales, market expansion, or a similarly cross-functional role. Experience building something from scratch, such as a new market, network, program, partnership channel, or growth initiative. Strong communication skills, with the ability to earn trust from mission-driven and community-focused organizations. Ability to manage both strategy and execution. Strong project management and organizational skills. Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Implementation, Operations, and Customer Success. Bias toward action, experimentation, and fast iteration. Experience managing relationships with both external partners and internal stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree required. Strongly Preferred Experience in community health, social services, healthcare, health tech, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, population health, SDOH, or nonprofit partnerships. Experience working with community-based organizations, government agencies, health plans, hospital systems, or social care networks. Familiarity with member engagement, referral workflows, benefits navigation, or care coordination. Advanced degree in public health, business, healthcare administration, or a related field. Why Join Blooming Health? Fully remote role. Medical and dental benefits. Join a mission-driven company improving health equity and access to care. Build a new national growth initiative from the ground up. Work directly with leadership on a high-visibility strategic priority. Partner with healthcare, community, and social care organizations across the US. Collaborative, high-performance culture with clear ownership and expectations. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not maintain. You’ll have real ownership, direct impact, and the opportunity to shape how Blooming Health expands its network across the country.
