Project Executive - Electrical Construction | (Remote, Southeast US) Gryphon Oakwood are currently partnered with a leading electrical construction company to find a Project Executive for a well-established and highly respected contractor delivering complex commercial and industrial projects. Backed by a $6 Billion national parent enterprise, our client combines the strong regional presence of a major contractor with unmatched financial stability and long-term growth opportunities. We are seeking an experienced professional to provide strategic oversight and executive leadership across a diverse portfolio of major electrical construction projects in the Southeast region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level oversight for large-scale industrial and commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Manage overall financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and profitability risk mitigation
- Serve as the primary executive contact for clients and general contractors, fostering long-term partnerships
- Mentor and lead Project Managers and field teams, establishing a high-performance culture
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring strict adherence to scheduling, quality, and safety standards
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within electrical construction management (Project Executive or Senior PM level)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects
- Based within the Southeast US region with the ability to travel to offices and sites as needed
- Strong financial acumen, including deep knowledge of WIP reporting and construction accounting
- Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and communication skills
