IT Systems Administrator | $50/hr Remote
Position: System Administrator Type: Contract Compensation: $25 - $50/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Manage systems configuration by applying best practices for scalability and performance.
- Implement and uphold robust security policies to safeguard the IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues swiftly to minimize business disruption.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external IT teams to deliver seamless technical solutions.
Requirements
- Have proven expertise in Linux and Windows administration in enterprise environments.
- Have strong experience with end-to-end systems configuration and optimization.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a remote work setting.
