The role involves managing communications activities to promote the advancement of university programs through planning and coordinating publications, media relations, website updates, and creating diverse content to highlight departments and centers within the college. Highlights

  • Designs and coordinates brochures, newsletters, annual reports, and marketing materials.
  • Manages and updates program websites and coordinates graphic design and printing services.
  • Writes and distributes news and press releases; manages promotional advertising and events.
  • Develops relationships with external media and university media relations.
  • Creates content including website copy, stories, social media, and potential print publications for CLASS.
  • Requires excellent writing skills, interview experience, and solid knowledge of AP Style.
  • Proficiency with content management systems such as Drupal, Schoolhouse, FinalSite, Wix, or WordPress.
  • Knowledge of social media writing styles, photography, video production, and related technical equipment.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience or equivalent education; portfolio submission required.
  • Salary range of $56,800 to $64,600; requires strong project management and customer service skills.
