Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Chief Procurement Officer. The Chief Procurement Officer will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and overseeing the supply chain and purchasing functions. The role includes strategizing to optimize costs, ensuring compliance with ethical sourcing standards, managing supplier contracts, and monitoring procurement performance to align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Supply Management and Supply Chain Management
- Strong skills in Procurement and Contract Negotiation
- Proficiency in Contract Management
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic procurement frameworks
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and vendor relations
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing practices and international supply chain standards
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications such as CPM or CSCP is a plus
- Proven experience in high-level procurement roles, preferably in the wellness or beauty industry
