Who We’re Looking For We welcome writers, photographers, or individuals who do both to contribute to Colorado Life. Our content covers:
- Travel & Adventure – Road trips, hiking, skiing, and exploring Colorado’s natural wonders.
- Nature & Wildlife – National parks, hidden landscapes, and Colorado’s diverse ecosystems.
- History & Culture – Stories of pioneers, historic towns, and the evolution of Colorado communities.
- Food & Drink – Local restaurants, craft breweries, wineries, and regional cuisine.
- People Profiles – Compelling human-interest stories about Coloradans making an impact.
- Arts & Communities – The state’s creative scene, festivals, and cultural traditions.
Compensation & Process
- Writers are paid per published word.
- Photographers are paid per published photo.
- We assign stories but also welcome your original story ideas.
