Software Design Engineer
Please submit your documents in English when applying for this position. We are looking for the best people for multiple openings in our video router team. As a member of the team, you will be challenged with designing and enhancing the latest broadcast video equipment incorporating the most advanced technology. Important note: The role is currently remote. To support the position, we are in the process of setting up an on-site lab to ensure direct access to our solutions. A transition to a hybrid working model is planned in the longer term; however, this change will take time and is expected to occur no sooner than 1-2 years.
Requirements
- 3+ years professional software development experience, including C/C++ 14 programming skills
- Background in embedded systems (firmware development, hardware interfaces, embedded Linux)
- Structured, object oriented design and programming techniques
- General understanding of Linux programming
- Understanding of network technologies (sockets, TCP/UDP/RTP, multicast/unicast)
- Experience or interest in one or more of the following: Linux device drivers, Ethernet networking, x86 architecture, PCI Express, USB
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in computer science or equivalent
- Be results oriented, self-motivated, and a team player
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Additional Skills and experience that will be useful
- Audio and video experience is a plus
