Country Manager - Baltic Region (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Are you a positive, creative, and ambitious professional with a strong background in business management in Biotech? Do you have several years of leadership experience, a well-developed professional network among Oby-Gyn, and the ability to manage complex, multi-country operations? If you are a results-driven leader with excellent organizational skills and a strategic mindset, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

GenePlanet is an innovative, high-tech company operating in more than 50 countries worldwide. We specialize in preventive genetic testing solutions that empower individuals to take control of their health.

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Country Manager for the Baltic Region who will be responsible for driving business development and overall performance across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with a strong focus on medical genetic tests, particularly prenatal screening (NIPT).

In this regional role, you will not only identify and develop new business opportunities, but also lead and coordinate cross-country expert teams. You will optimize existing sales processes, develop new sales channels, and implement innovative, out-of-the-box approaches tailored to the specifics of each Baltic market.

As the regional face of the company, you will be responsible for defining and executing an effective regional sales and business strategy. Your goal will be to ensure sustainable financial growth by increasing sales performance, building strong long-term relationships with key partners and clients, and identifying new market opportunities across the Baltic region.

Tasks

Key tasks

  • Oversee day-to-day regional operations, including logistics, accounting coordination, sales, marketing, and HR-related activities across the Baltic countries.
  • Lead, educate, and manage local sales teams in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers in the Baltic NIPT market and execute a long-term regional business strategy.
  • Build and maintain a strong regional network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), partners, and distribution channels.
  • Actively participate in the sales process and lead by example.
  • Monitor market trends and proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the region.

Requirements

Your skills

  • Hands-on, sales-driven, and goal-oriented professional with strong people skills.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Solid background in business development and multi-country team management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Baltic healthcare and laboratory market, particularly in the private sector.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales teams across different countries.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Baltic or other regional languages is a strong advantage.

You would have an advantage with

  • A higher education degree in medicine, biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of NIPT and other first-trimester screening products.
  • Experience working with gynaecologists, laboratories, or within the medical diagnostics industry.
  • Previous experience managing regional or multi-market operations.

Benefits

We offer

  • A competitive bonus scheme based on regional team targets.
  • Private health insurance.
  • A dynamic, international working environment.
  • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

If you are passionate about healthcare, innovation, and regional business development, and you are ready to take responsibility for driving success across the Baltic region, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
