As our Inventory Specialist, you will be in charge of our physical stock and be the backbone of our daily operations. Focusing on maintaining stock accuracy, preventing shortages - you’ll be the go-to expert for how stock flows through our building, whilst introducing fresh ideas that will improve and streamline our procurement processes within Carma.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the accuracy: You’ll hunt down discrepancies and run tight cycle counts to keep our stock data flawless.
- Master the intake: Meticulously verify every delivery and shut down damages or paperwork variances the moment they arrive.
- Keep us moving: Partner with suppliers to navigate lead times and order changes so our production line never skips a beat.
- Navigate our digital world: Use Excel and our internal systems to track stock movements with total precision.
- Optimise the flow: Organise physical stock and coordinate movements to turn our facility into a high-speed, high-efficiency machine.
Okay, let’s talk about you:
- You have experience in inventory or parts management (a bonus if it’s within an automotive or fast-paced warehouse environment)
- You’re comfortable using tech (especially MacBooks) and can get the hang of new systems quickly.
- You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and take pride in high-quality work.
- You're motivated self-starter who can multitask and maintain high-quality work under pressure.
- You hold a valid NSW Driver’s licence, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic cars preferred
