Senior QA Automation Engineer

The Senior QA automation engineer we are looking for is a developer with a keen sense for finding weak spots in products and has a strong understanding of how to achieve comprehensive test coverage. A successful candidate will lead the efforts to design and implement a QA Automation strategy for our solutions. The candidate will work with their team to develop this strategy and to introduce and implement a robust test automation solution. The Senior QA Automation will be responsible for- Refining requirements and translating them into designs,
- Developing automated QA solutions to satisfy business needs,
- Implementing solutions in a timely manner,
- Mentoring and helping junior team members
Requirements
Strong experience and knowledge in- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Hands on experience designing and implementing a test automation strategy
- Back-end and web application development experience
- SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and database design knowledge
- 7+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of experience with Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working on QA automation
- Experience working in an agile (scrum) software development team
- Hands on experience in working with SQL queries
- Hands on experience in automating API testing (REST, SOAP)
- Hands on programming experience in C# and Javascript
- Experience with the latest tools and industry best practices
- In-depth knowledge of QA concepts, test frameworks and automation tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and curiosity.
- Experience with understanding business use cases
- Open minded, easy to communicate with, team player, able to learn quickly, able to work both independently and as a member of a team
