Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Chat Support Representative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving inquiries, and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional and friendly customer service via live chat, addressing inquiries, issues, and complaints.
  • Resolving product or service-related queries efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being attentive, understanding, and proactive in identifying solutions.
  • Accurately documenting all interactions and maintaining up-to-date records of customer requests.
  • Collaborating with other team members to share knowledge and improve service quality.
  • Following company guidelines and policies to ensure compliance and consistency in responses.
  • Continuously staying updated with product information and industry trends to assist customers effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a chat support or similar role.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English. Additional language skills (Malay, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency with chat software and tools.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple chats simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and basic office software (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated in a remote work environment.

Experience

While previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is preferred, it's not required. However, experience with live chat platforms or customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus. Prior work-from-home experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Working Hours

As a Remote Chat Support Representative, you'll have flexible working hours available, with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week. Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
