[Remote] FIRREA Compliant Evaluationa Analyst

They are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Evaluations Analyst to prepare FIRREA-compliant evaluations of commercial real estate collateral, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare FIRREA-compliant commercial real estate evaluations for lending, credit, and portfolio management purposes
- Analyze income-producing and owner-occupied commercial properties including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and special-purpose assets
- Perform market research and analysis, including rent comps, sales comps, cap rates, absorption trends, and market conditions
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies (income, sales comparison, cost approaches) consistent with regulatory guidance
- Maintain adherence to Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, internal policies, and quality control standards
- Clearly document assumptions, conclusions, and risk considerations in written reports
- Meet established turnaround times while maintaining high-quality analytical standards
Skills
- 1-3+ years of experience in commercial real estate performing appraiser or non-appraiser evaluations
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to concisely explain valuation concepts
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with CRE data sources (e.g., CoStar,) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Prior experience within a financial institution, appraisal management company, or valuation advisory firm
