Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Evening Specimen Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving and routing laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Data entering lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
• Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, championing safety, compliance, and quality control
• Collaborating with our team to provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers, without being face-to-face

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, with typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment
