Key Responsibilities:
As a Hardware Store Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Operating cash registers efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions
- Operating forklift or skidsteer to move, load, and unload products
- Assisting with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing
- Engaging with customers to provide assistance, answer questions, and promote products through effective upselling techniques
- Conducting product demonstrations to showcase new items and encourage sales
- Maintaining knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales reporting
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
Qualifications:
To be successful as a Hardware Store Clerk at arenaflex, you will need:
- Previous experience in a hardware store or retail environment is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Basic knowledge of cash register operations and retail math principles
