Position Summary

The Online Chat Support Agent is a critical role at arenaflex, responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate assistance to customers through our live chat platform. You will handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide product or service information—all while maintaining a positive brand experience. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a remote environment, has excellent communication skills, and is able to multitask and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that customers feel heard and understood.

  • Provide Product or Service Information: Assist customers with product, service, or account-related questions, providing accurate and up-to-date information to meet their needs.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical or service-related issues, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor as needed.
  • Document Customer Interactions: Document customer interactions and feedback accurately in the system, ensuring that customer feedback is captured and used to improve our services.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate support and ensure that customers receive the best possible experience.
  • Follow Communication Guidelines: Follow communication guidelines and company policies, ensuring that customer interactions are professional and respectful.
  • Monitor Multiple Chat Sessions: Monitor multiple chat sessions simultaneously while ensuring quality service, providing timely and effective support to customers.
  • Identify Trends and Report Issues: Identify trends or recurring issues and report them to leadership, helping us to improve our services and better meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to a Positive Team Environment: Contribute to a positive team environment, upholding customer satisfaction goals and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our objectives.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service or chat support is a plus, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills and typing speed, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends if needed.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable working with CRM tools, live chat platforms, and basic web navigation.
