Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Center Technician, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Contributing to and leading efforts in the deployment, maintenance, and support of modern and new data center infrastructure
- Participating in or leading complex troubleshooting and resolving essential or escalated technical problems
- Testing and troubleshooting new server hardware components and designs
- Configuring and troubleshooting Linux OS-related problems on servers
- Deploying and maintaining arenaflex's superior Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strong foundation in hardware operations, network infrastructure development, and Linux OS. You'll also need to be an excellent communicator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Here are some of the key skills and qualifications we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and community problems, including the use of Linux tools
- Experience with mild coding or scripting, such as Python or Bash
- Experience in challenge control and leadership, including the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on problem-solving and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with data center management software, such as VMware or OpenStack
- Certification in Linux or a related field
