GDIT Summer Internship Program – Summer 2026 Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Associate Internship

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Technical Intern the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of CMS. You will play a crucial role in working with team that works on AI/ML projects for Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.

• Lead/Manage/Support
• Collaborate with technical and SME related to AI and Fraud Waste and Abuse.
• Drive solutions developed using AI/ML tools.
• Utilize AI/ML tools

The Must-Haves 

• Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, IT, engineering, or other STEM field from a United States-based college or university.  
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to work with AI Software Tools

GDIT interns are paid and full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive Applicants should have a minimum of one semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Take the first step and apply today!

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.95 - $31.05. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
