Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Live Chat Assistant to join our team of remote customer support specialists. As a Live Chat Assistant, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing sales links, and offering discounts to customers through live chat on our clients' websites or social media accounts. This is a part-time remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate, and helpful solutions through live chat on our clients' websites or social media accounts

  • Provide sales links and offer discounts to customers as needed
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional customer support
  • Utilize our proprietary chat features to engage with customers and provide a seamless experience
  • Work autonomously while following instructions and adhering to our quality standards

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, marketing, communications) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a live chat or customer support environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and website chat features
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (optional)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with live chat software and platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk)

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
