Job Summary

As a Part-Time Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing expert advice on coverage options and policy adjustments, and implementing initiatives to enhance client retention rates and satisfaction levels. Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Risk Assessment: Provide expert advice on coverage options and policy adjustments based on client requirements.
  • Retention Strategies: Implement initiatives to enhance client retention rates and satisfaction levels.
  • Policy Reviews: Conduct regular policy reviews to identify opportunities for additional coverage and cost savings.
  • Renewal Processing: Manage the renewal process efficiently and communicate changes effectively with clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active Property & Casualty License: You must be licensed to sell property and casualty insurance in the state of Maryland.
  • Previous Insurance Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a top-ranked agency like arenaflex.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess client needs and provide expert advice on coverage options and policy adjustments.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Allstate Experience: Previous experience working with Allstate, either as an agent or in a customer service role.
  • Insurance Certifications: Certifications such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM can be beneficial in this role.
