What Part Will You Play?

As a Work From Home Banking Credit Card Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for resolving basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving customer inquiries and issues related to card activations, payments, name and address updates, and other basic account-related requests.
  • Providing standardized or scripted responses using our user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens and established documentation and processes.
  • Entering required data into client-provided systems and databases.
  • Determining basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree and escalating or referring unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments for further investigation and resolution.
  • Building base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients and understanding association guidelines and compliance by frequently referring to online manuals and specific client training.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent + A minimum of at least six months of contact center or work-from-contact center experience in the last 18 months + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities + Basic computer skills and familiarity with GUI screens

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 12 months of contact center or work-from-contact center experience in the last 18 months + Banking customer service experience

Desired Skills and Capabilities:

+ Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks + Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes + Has little or no role in the decision-making process + Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requiring instructions on all assignments + Works under close supervision
