Client Data Specialist
Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and consumers. The Client Data Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining customer account accuracy and completeness, supporting Client Success Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and successful account readiness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date payer contracts and fee schedules for customer accounts
- Perform data discovery and entry tasks, including formatting spreadsheets and accurately modeling fee schedules
- Read, interpret, and understand payer contract terms
- Quickly complete task lists and provide timely updates on progress
- Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work to ensure account readiness
- Communicate with clients about the details of their payer contracts
- Coordinate with internal teams for additional research, problem resolution & preventative measures
- Support escalated and complex issues further investigating solution and clearly communicating with stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client service strategies and high-quality client service experience
- Support other team members during peak times or when additional help is needed
Skills
- Associates degree & 1 year or HS Diploma and 3 yrs
- Good understanding of physician and/or hospital reimbursement methodologies
- Experience modeling fee schedules or working with physician and/or hospital billing
- Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using CRM software and support tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Empathy and patience when dealing with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
