Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers who use our bookkeeping and accounting software. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
  • Providing expert guidance on bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related topics
  • Delivering high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
  • Taking ownership of customer issues and providing confident resolution
  • Communicating with customers in a friendly tone and professional demeanor
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues

Requirements

To be successful as a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Accounting Software: Expertise in using bookkeeping and accounting software, including QuickBooks Online or comparable software
  • Bookkeeping and Accounting Expertise: Strong background in bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related topics
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using computers, software applications, and other technology tools
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly tone and professional demeanor
  • Work Environment Requirements: Quiet, uninterrupted space, organized desk area, and a reliable computer with a wired internet connection

Work Environment and Technology Requirements

As a remote, independent contractor, you will be working from home and will need to meet the following work environment and technology requirements:

  • Quiet, Uninterrupted Space: A quiet, uninterrupted space that is free from distractions and interruptions
  • Organized Desk Area: An organized desk area that is well-lit and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment
  • Reliable Computer: A reliable computer with a wired internet connection, Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, and valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
  • Wired USB Headset: A wired USB headset with microphone

Important Information

As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be considered an independent contractor and will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits. You will also be required to pass a criminal background check and will need to live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
