Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers who use our bookkeeping and accounting software. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
- Providing expert guidance on bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related topics
- Delivering high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
- Taking ownership of customer issues and providing confident resolution
- Communicating with customers in a friendly tone and professional demeanor
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues

Requirements

- Proficiency in Bookkeeping and Accounting Software: Expertise in using bookkeeping and accounting software, including QuickBooks Online or comparable software
- Bookkeeping and Accounting Expertise: Strong background in bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related topics
- Customer Service Experience: Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using computers, software applications, and other technology tools
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in a friendly tone and professional demeanor
- Work Environment Requirements: Quiet, uninterrupted space, organized desk area, and a reliable computer with a wired internet connection
Work Environment and Technology Requirements
As a remote, independent contractor, you will be working from home and will need to meet the following work environment and technology requirements:
